A High Level Delegation led by Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India, Shri E. Ahamed visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 13th and 14th March 2012 for discussions on the Bilateral Agreement for Haj 2012. The Minister was accompanied by Mrs. Mohsina Kidwai, Chairperson, Haj Committee of India and other officials.

2. The Annual Haj Agreement was finalised today by Minister Shri E. Ahamed and by Dr. Bandar Bin Mohammed Bin Hamzah Asad Hajjar, Hon’ble Minister for Haj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

3. More than 1,70,000 pilgrims would be performing Haj from India this year. In view of the large number of Indians applying for Haj, the Hon’ble Minister made a special request to Minister of Haj for an additional quota of 10,000. The additional quota is usually released near the time of commencement of the Haj.

4. Hon’ble Minister has also made a formal request for providing Metro Train Facility for the pilgrims coming through Haj Committee of India. The Hon’ble Minister of Haj has assured to look into the request.

5. Hon’ble Minister also met with Chairman South Asian Moassasa yesterday and discussed various issues related to Haj arrangements.

റിയാദ്: സ്വകാര്യ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന വിദേശികളുടെ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ നിതാഖാത്ത് വ്യവസ്ഥ പ്രകാരം ഏതു കാറ്റഗറിയിലാണെന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കുന്നതിന് സൗദി തൊഴില്‍ മന്ത്രാലയം പുതിയ സംവിധാനമൊരുക്കി. ‘ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്‍െറ കാറ്റഗറി അറിയുക’ എന്ന പേരിലാണ് പുതിയ സേവനം ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നത്.
ഇതുമൂലം വിദേശികള്‍ക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ തൊഴില്‍ രേഖകള്‍ പുതുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമോയെന്നും മറ്റ് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സേവനങ്ങള്‍ ലഭ്യമാകുമോ എന്നുമൊക്കെ നേരിട്ടറിയാനാകുമെന്ന് തൊഴില്‍ മന്ത്രാലയ വാക്താവ് ഹത്താബ് അല്‍ അനസി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. നിലവില്‍ ‘ചുവപ്പ്‘ കാറ്റഗറിയിലുള്ള തൊഴിലാളിയുടെ തൊഴില്‍ രേഖകള്‍ പുതുക്കുകയില്ല. അത്തരക്കാര്‍ പച്ചയോ ‘എക്സലന്‍േറാ’ കാറ്റഗറിയിലേക്ക് സ്പോണ്‍സര്‍ഷിപ്പ് മാറ്റേണ്ടതുണ്ടെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. അതുപോലെ ‘മഞ്ഞ’യിലാണെങ്കില്‍ രാജ്യത്ത് ആറു വര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ കുറഞ്ഞ കാലാവധി കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടിയവരുടെ ഇഖാമ മാത്രമേ പുതുക്കുകയുള്ളൂ. നിലവിലെ വ്യവസ്ഥയനുസരിച്ച് ‘പച്ച’, ‘എക്സലന്‍റ്’ കാറ്റഗറിയിലുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമേ യാതൊരു തടസ്സവും കൂടാതെ തൊഴില്‍ രേഖകള്‍ പുതുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുകയുള്ളൂവെന്ന് അല്‍ അനസി വിശദീകരിച്ചു. പുതിയ സേവനം ലഭ്യമാകാന്‍ 44*ശേഷം ഇഖാമ നമ്പര്‍ ചേര്‍ത്ത് സന്ദേശം അയച്ചാല്‍ മതി. സന്ദേശം അയക്കേണ്ട നമ്പര്‍ ഇത്തിസാലാത്ത്: 888996, മൊബൈലി: 626666, സൈന്‍: 709446. ഈ സേവനം http://www.mol.gov.sa/ എന്ന വെബ് സൈറ്റിലും ലഭ്യമാണ്.
സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കാറ്റഗറി മാറാന്‍ തൊഴില്‍ മന്ത്രാലയം അനുവദിച്ച സമയ പരിധി അവസാനിച്ച ശേഷവും നിതാഖാത്ത് വ്യവസ്ഥ പാലിക്കാത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് പുതിയ പ്രഖ്യാപനം. നിതാഖാത്ത് വ്യവസ്ഥ പാലിക്കാത്ത സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് തൊഴില്‍ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന്‍െറ സേവനം നിര്‍ത്തിവെക്കുമെന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞ മാര്‍ച്ചില്‍ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു. ഇതോടെ ‘ചുവപ്പി’ലുള്ള തൊഴിലാളികള്‍ക്ക് തൊഴില്‍ രേഖകള്‍ പുതുക്കാനോ ‘പച്ച’, ‘എക്സലന്‍റ് കാറ്റഗറിയിലുള്ള സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലേക്ക് സ്പോണ്‍സര്‍ഷിപ്പ് മാറ്റാനോ കഴിയാതെ വരും.
